Worked with a great agent to close this one out. Agents don't work together in the sense we're buddies and try to help each other's side of the deal, but we have no choice but to work together as our clients figure out what they need/want within a deal, and how those needs and wants affect the other side. Some agents are pleasant and competent, some are the opposite. This one was pleasant and competent.

My clients had to move to a new state, fast, and make sure they accepted an offer on their Roanoke home that was as close to "bullet proof" as possible. Money, timeline, terms, etc. Everyone wants this when selling, but it's rarely easy. BUT, we focused on the results we needed and we closed strong and as planned. My clients can now focus on their next home in their new state with this one in the books.

As my buyer and I were about to go through the front door of a home we scheduled to tour, a vicious-sounding pit bull started barking and running around the inside of the home. Sounded like the dog had eaten half the couch. The tenant in the home said the owner (who I had called to schedule the tour) didn't let her know we were coming and "now" wasn't a good time, especially with her pit bull all razzed up. We agreed as we didn't know it was tenant-occupied. As we walked back to our car, I said "there's another home for sale a few doors down... it's right here... let's go check it out... why not?" And 30 days later, this is the result!
