One thing I’ve been spending more time on lately: golf. ⛳️

What started as a personal challenge has quickly become something I genuinely look forward to each week. I love that it gets me outside, keeps me active, and reminds me that growth usually comes with a healthy dose of humility.

I’m still very much a beginner, but I’m learning that some of the most rewarding things are the ones you’re not immediately good at.

Here’s to showing up, improving a little at a time, and enjoying the process.

Split foyers are another very common home style in the Roanoke area and while they were built around the same time as split levels, the flow is a bit different.

If you’re deciding between the two, it really comes down to how you prefer your space to function day-to-day.

Split-level homes are one of the most common styles you’ll see in Roanoke and one of my favorite home layouts. They were designed to maximize space and create more functional living areas, especially on the kind of terrain we have here.

In the next video, I’ll break down how this compares to a split foyer, which you’ll also see all over the area.
