How it all began (the Sellers words) ...
When I was a young girl, my grandmother had a series of books by Grace Livingston Hill that my cousins and I read and loved. They were all romances, with names like, ”The Beloved Stranger”, The Enchanted Barn”, “A New Name” and “The Beacon”. There were dozens and dozens and dozens of these books, but one of my favorites was “Happiness Hill.” It was the perfect name for this home and all it has meant to us over the years, so several years ago I named our place exactly that. It is just what it has been for us: a place of much happiness at the top of a small hill. As our children have grown and moved away, my husband and I have decided it is time for us to downsize and move as well. We will be enjoying happiness and creating new memories in another home, but we hope that Happiness Hill will be a special place for someone new, full of love and memories and peace just outside the city.
