Thanks to a generous donor and a matching grant from the City of Roanoke, Virginia - Government Home Safe programs, these panels will help offset utility costs that Restoration Housing provides for residents—making affordable housing even more sustainable.

This is Stephanie, the very first graduate of The Grove on Patterson in Roanoke, receiving a congratulatory hug from Roanoke Mayor Joe Cobb — a full-circle moment marking not just completion, but transformation.

Grove on Patterson, supported by Virginia Opioid Abatement Authority funding through the City of Roanoke, Virginia - Government, is a specialized residential recovery program that provides up to six months of housing and treatment for pregnant women and new mothers navigating substance use disorder.

Stephanie spent much of her adult life in active addiction. She has now spent the last year in active recovery.

That’s what real investment in recovery looks like.

Not just programs.

Not just funding.

Healthier people. Healthier families. Healthier communities.

Featuring insights from local and national experts, “No Place to Grow Old” is a powerful call to action that emphasizes dignity and hope, envisioning a future where everyone, regardless of age, has a safe and secure place to call home.

👷 Construction is nearly complete on Trinity Commons—15 affordable apartment homes for seniors experiencing housing insecurity in the former Sunday School Annex at Trinity UMC. Trim work, paint, appliances, and final inspections will be wrapping up over the next month, and this historic space will be ready to welcome its new residents as they begin a new chapter of stability and dignity.
