Some transactions can feel simple- going through the process with minimal stress with everything happening the way it's supposed to. This was not one of those transactions simply put. We sold this property before it ever came on the market to a buyer who found out the home was going to be listed from a neighbor. We negotiated a great deal for my sellers with minimal contingencies, and had an extended closing date that gave them time to move to their next property a state away and not feel rushed during the process. Everything was complete and we were waiting to close when I received a phone call that you never want as an agent... The call was from the buyer's agent letting me know that the buyer was denied loan approval... A day before our closing date...
