Real estate school taught us how the process is supposed to work.

Real life clients taught us what it feels like when that process is attached to someone’s savings, timeline, nerves, and hopes for what comes next.

You can study contracts and deadlines all day, but experience is what teaches you when someone needs more context before they can make a decision, when a question is really fear in disguise, or when the smartest thing you can do is slow the whole process down for a minute.

That part of the job can’t really be memorized.

You learn it by sitting across from people who trust you with something deeply personal and realizing that knowing the rules is only the beginning.

The longer we do this, the more we understand that expertise isn’t just knowing what comes next. It’s knowing how to help someone move through it with clarity and confidence.

We like our real estate with a side of mountain views and local goodness, and we will absolutely romanticize Roanoke. We're always going to stop for good scenery and bring Poppy along whenever possible. Every now and then, you'll catch us talking about houses and interest rates.

But under absolutely no circumstances should you expect us to leave the house again once we've gotten comfy! 🙅🏻‍♀️😆

Raise your hand if you were making Holiday plans today
🙋🏻‍♀️☃️

Just hung up with our events committee, and we literally went from back-to-school drives…to holiday parties (how did we get here so quickly??)…to charity events…to Summer Fest…to wine tastings…and ended the call talking about heated igloos, and our entire 2027 lineup!

Real estate can be incredibly lonely.

It doesn’t have to be.

As two Texans who are still fairly new to Virginia, getting to help plan events all over the state has become one of our favorite parts of this journey. It’s given us a reason to explore more of the places we now get to call home - and to do it alongside people we’re genuinely proud to know 🫶

P.S. I refuse to accept that we’re already planning Christmas already 😂🎄

You know we have a soft spot for people who pack up their lives and move somewhere new 🩵🌟

Big CONGRATS to our friends, Sirena & Russ - two fellow Texans who decided to turn it all upside down and make Roanoke home!

Sirena and Russ were intentional, thoughtful, and had a clear vision for where they wanted to plant their roots. It was such a joy getting to be part of the journey.

We also got to team up with some of our favorite people along the way. Huge thanks to Hersel Lawson for another smooth lending experience and to the incredible team at PerformanceTitle for helping make closing day feel effortless. We love working alongside professionals who care as much about our clients as we do.

Welcome to your next chapter, friends. We have a feeling you’re going to make Roanoke even better🏡🩵

The old-school real estate buying strategy that still works better than anything else.

The buyers who quietly come out ahead aren't usually the ones who landed the most beautiful home.

They're the ones who bought with intention, looked at the bigger picture, and were willing to wait for the upside instead of paying for it up front.
