Dear Tenants:
We're all facing a situation unprecedented in our lifetime with no end in sight. I've suspended my entire salary as of today, but I still need to pay my investors and make mortgage payments on your home since there's been no relief of these responsibilities announced so far. The financial uncertainties are enough to cause all of us to worry, but I'd like to do my part to help.
The rent you owe for April can be cut in half if you pay by the usual due date, no later than Monday 6 April: for example, if your normal monthly rent is $800, please bring $400 to your regular payment location no later than 6:30pm on a weekday (4pm if paying on Saturday). Please text your name and “half” to (540) 293-5293 to let me know you have received this offer and plan to take advantage of it, and as always, feel free to call with any questions or concerns.
Too much can happen between now and May for me to be able to say anything about future rent payments, but I'd like to be able to provide whatever relief I can for as long as I can. I hope you and your family are well during these trying times; may this crisis end as quickly as possible for all of us. Thank you for doing your part, whatever that may be.
