Here’s some real estate real talk:

You don’t need a realtor who will tell you what you want to hear just to keep you happy.

You need someone who will tell you when the price is too high. When the house you love isn’t worth what you’re about to pay. When the timing may not go exactly how you hoped.

And sometimes, you need someone willing to tell you to walk away.

My job isn’t just to get you to the closing table. It’s to help you make a good decision—even when the right answer isn’t the easiest one.

That’s what having someone in your corner should look like. 🏡

There are some houses you sell that you’ll remember because of the price, the negotiations, or how quickly they came together.

And then there are the ones you remember because of the people in the stories attached to them. This one was already meaningful to me- having the opportunity to sell a home in the area I grew up in was special enough. But along the way, this house gave me another moment I’ll never forget. 

I had someone reach out to me and explain their 88-year-old grandmother, Ms. Phyllis, wanted the opportunity to walk through her childhood home one more time and I knew we had to make that happen.

Watching her walk through those rooms, remembering her childhood, sharing stories with her family, and seeing five generations connected to the memories held inside those walls… That was bigger than real estate. That moment had nothing to do with a transaction. It was about family, memories, and getting to go home one more time. 

Real estate is what I do. But the people, stories, and the moments like these are why I love what I do. I’m incredibly grateful to my clients for trusting me and truly blessed that God allowed me to be part of this home’s next chapter.

This weekend was busy. Class with Katy & Co Realtors in the office, took my youngest to the dentist 🦷 , watched two of the grandkids play in their first soccer game ⚽️, showed a house with my daughter 🏡, and made it to watch my son play football 🏈- and that was just kicking off Friday! There was also meetings with clients, sneaking in some time to wash up the bike, and got a ride in 🏍️

Busy? Yup. But more importantly- BLESSED 🙏🏻 Ready to do it all again this week- Let’s go! 💪🏻

When I say it’s not just about getting to the closing table- this is what I mean.

Rebecca and Keith were originally referred my way when they were on the hunt for a house, but somewhere between the showings, prayers, and late night decisions, we became family.

They trusted me with one of the biggest steps of their lives, homeownership. Then honored me with the privilege of being able to officiate their wedding. It was an absolutely beautiful location and the ceremony was full of love- it was truly unforgettable. It was an incredible reminder that God writes stories we never see coming.

How many realtors get to say they officiated their clients’ wedding? Because I can now say, “Been there, done that, got the t shirt!”
