Closing #2 today.

Some closings are tough. Some are heavy.

My Uncle lived in this home for more than 30 years, and my cousins were raised here. When it was time to sell, after my Uncle passed away, my cousins trusted me to sell their childhood home.

We laughed, cried, hugged, prepped, cried and hugged some more. Before closing, we stood together and said, “Goodbye and thank you” to the home that held so many memories, and wished its new owners so much joy in the years to come.

At closing, stories were told. Memories were shared. And there were, of course, more tears.

This one was tough.

But being trusted by my family to navigate the sale of a home that meant so much to them truly meant the world to me. I understand the weight of that trust, and I don’t take it lightly.

It’s sometimes easier for a stranger to trust you than friends or family. Believe me when I say… when someone who knows you, loves you, and has entrusted you with something this meaningful puts their faith in you, it is an honor I will never take for granted.

Today, a new chapter begins. ❤️

For my cousins, for the memories made here, and for the new memories that will be made by the family who calls this home theirs next.

Here’s to new chapters, while always carrying the old ones with us.

What an exciting morning and a fantastic Friday! Sometimes a dream comes true without much warning. We moved quickly and here we are!

I’m so incredibly excited for my buyers and their family. It was already a very happy day, with a birthday celebration worked in too! 🎉

Yesterday I had the complete honor of meeting a beautiful soul at Samaritan Bethany. 57 years ago, she and her husband bought a home in Rochester. They built careers, raised a family, did additions & upgrades to their home, petitioned for tennis courts to be added to the park across the street. She also did daycare out of her home. Their kids grew, moved out and then they took care of each other.

It’s now time to list the home, so the next story can be built within the walls of this beautiful home by the next family. The next mom will do all the things.

This is my why. 🙌

Connection. Stories. Supporting people going through the next chapter (and sometimes it’s beautiful & heartbreaking at the same time).

I am feeling so blessed to get to know this family better and honored to sell this family home full of love, laughter, hard work & memories. 🖼️
