There were no interior pictures of this house when it was posted online. I like to check those houses out. The first thing you noticed was the smell of cigarette smoke. So the first job was removing all of the carpet and padding. Then Tsp and wash down the walls. I had noticed some hardwood floors under the carpet in the living room. I was pleasantly surprised to find them throughout the whole house. I plan on refinishing them. The house now smells so much better!

I decided to share my experience of buying a fixer upper and turning it into a rental property. I closed on this house on Sept 6th. The asking price was 175k. I negotiated down to 162k. I believe this was an amazing deal. I have a budget of 40k. Follow me for the ups and downs and the decisions I will have to make.

With the fed announcing that they will probably cut interest rates 3 times next year. My suggestion is buy your home before these rate cuts. Remember you buy the home not the interest rate. You will be able to refinance later, while buying a home at a lower purchase price.

Sometimes Realtors go above and beyond. Nothing like herding goats from your Clients backyard in their new home.

The two runaways were finally captured on Tee Time Road SE. After days of running around SE Rochester having a good old time their shenanigans have come to an end. Thank you to the diligent ACOs today and everyone involved! April and Twiggy are going home.
