Good cause eviction passed in Rochester NY.
Exemption only for landlords with a single property.

The law will require most landlords to provide evidence of “good cause” in housing court before they can evict tenants or fail to renew a lease in Rochester.

April 2024 - NYS passed Good Cause Eviction law, it affected NYC and every other municipality (city/village/town) can OPT IN, but does not take affect by default.
