Thank you to Flaum Management Company for hosting RAC NYSCAR’s monthly member luncheon at 1999 Mt. Read Boulevard on August 20. Our event was well attended at the former home of Special Touch Bakery. Mike Palumbo highlighted the property as well as Flaum’s other offerings. Pete Gillett, also from Flaum, and current RAC NYSCAR President, facilitated time for attendees to have the opportunity to share their real estate Needs and Wants with the group. On July 14, we had our biggest turnout yet to celebrate the 25th Annual RAC NYSCAR Golf Tournament at The Links at Greystone – 100 golfers!!! Great day, great fun and great golf with colleagues and friends. Congratulations go to one of our Davidson Fink foursomes who came in First Place. Our proceeds from the tournament will go to Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity again this year. Thank you to all 29 of our amazing sponsors! We could not have done this without their continued and generous support!!

RAC NYSCAR had a great crowd at our June 18 luncheon co-hosted by Main Street Alternatives, Yaman Commercial Industrial and C & P Properties INC. Our lunch took place at 655 Driving Park Avenue, owned by C & P Properties INC. Guest Speaker Jeff Garcia, Founder & CEO of Main Street Alternatives, along with colleagues from Walton Global, discussed the significance, benefits and available Walton Global offerings for 1031 Exchanges for real estate investments. Mercedes Brien from Yaman Commercial Industrial highlighted the property, and a tour was included. We also had a mini-marketing session for those interested in sharing their real estate “needs and wants.”

The May 14, 2026 Rochester Area Chapter NYSCAR Monthly Luncheon was hosted by Rainaldi Brothers, Inc., at High Point Business Park in Victor, NY and drew 76 members and guests from across the Commercial real estate industry. Fred Rainaldi provided an overview of current and upcoming projects, shared his thoughts on the future of the office and retail markets and led attendees on a tour of the new Broadstone Class A office space at High Point Business Park. The event highlighted what is arguably one of the premier Class A office environments currently available in the Rochester market.

The luncheon also featured a presentation from Jeremy Smith, Executive Director of Freedom Scholars Learning Center, highlighting the organization’s mission focused on literacy, mentorship, leadership and youth development programs throughout the Rochester community. The event provided an excellent opportunity for networking, market discussion, project visibility and community engagement within the Rochester Commercial real estate market. Thank you again to Rainaldi Brothers, Freedom Scholars Learning Center, sponsors and everyone who attended.
