The Giving Tree brand was established in 2011 with the purchase of 9 acres of undeveloped land in Webster N.Y. Myself and my wife’s family decided to make a go of developing a private road on those 9 acres. The road was named Giving Tree Lane, after the book “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein. And much like in the book, the trees on those 9 acres gave us much.

Giving Tree ... began with the building of Giving Tree Lane and the development of four unique and private home sites on 1 to 3 acre lots. Shortly thereafter we purchased residential rental properties in the 19th Ward and Park Avenue areas within the City of Rochester.

In 2019 we began to purchase distressed homes around the Monroe County area to be rehabilitated and rented and/or sold.

I look at this page as a way to chronicle the various projects we have completed, those we have underway, and those we are undertaking in the future.

We are often asked about rental availability. This page will be an excellent source for seeing what we have available for rent and what houses we have for sale.

We hope that you will follow us and our projects as we look forward to a future of continued excellence.

RENTED.... Oxford Street is no longer available.

Pass the word along if you can ....A really fantastic apartment will be available June 1st. This unit has not been free for about 5 years. The unit is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath on Oxford Street between Park Ave. and East Ave... 3 off street parking spots and an in unit washer and dryer. 2200$ a month plus heat and electric which is about 70$a month. Roughly 733$ a person. 3 person max. 1 bedrooms in the Park Ave. Area run for 900$ a month with off street parking and I can promise you they won’t be as nice. No pets.
