We know that not everyone can look at a 2D floor plan and immediately picture what the finished home is going to feel like.

How big does that great room actually feel?
How does the kitchen connect to the dining area?
Where does one space end and another begin?

Sometimes, you just need to see it.
So we brought the floor plan for our new Scenic Oaks West model at 5220 Scenic Dr SW to life in 3D.

Not all custom-home builders work the same way.

Choosing a builder should involve much more than comparing the appearance of one model home or selecting the lowest preliminary estimate.

The right builder should be a strong fit for your project, communication preferences, budget and expectations.

How long does it take to build a custom home? ⏱️🏡

The construction itself is only one part of the timeline.

Before excavation begins, there are important steps involving the lot, design, budget, plans, pricing, financing, selections and permits. Once construction starts, the home moves through foundation, framing, mechanicals, insulation, drywall, cabinetry, finishes, inspections and final completion.

The timeline can also be affected by:
