Cast your vote for Jason Seaton for Thrall ISD School Board!
For those who may not know me, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jason Seaton. I am a husband and father of two Thrall ISD students.
My wife and I both grew up in the surrounding area, and we intentionally chose Thrall and Thrall ISD as the place where we wanted to raise our family. Over the past several years, we have become deeply invested in this community and our schools. My wife, Kelly Seaton, works for Thrall ISD, and our two boys participate in a wide variety of academic activities and sports.
As a family, we believe strongly in volunteering, supporting our schools, and being active in the community. That desire to serve is what ultimately led me to run for the Thrall ISD School Board.
I am extremely proud of what Thrall ISD represents and grateful for the board members, staff, administration, and community members who have helped make it such a special place. My primary goal as a board member would be to protect what makes Thrall ISD great while helping guide the district through its next chapter. With approximately 25 years of experience in business and management, I feel that I have developed tools and skills that could be beneficial to the board. Communication, open dialogue, conflict resolution, problem-solving, financial responsibility, and accountability are all critical in business and for a School Board that represents a community of families and students. Kelly and I both come from families with many educators, administrators and ISD board members, so I truly recognize how important the role of the School board is.
Thrall ISD has experienced significant growth in recent years, and with major changes occurring in surrounding communities, thoughtful planning for the future is more important than ever. As we grow, it is essential that we preserve the values, traditions, and sense of community that have always made Thrall special while continuing to enhance opportunities for every student.
I am excited about the future of Thrall ISD and would be honored to have the opportunity to serve and support our schools and community.
