Today….all day…for my best girl and her man…❤️

I hand painted every brick, in 5 of my retired Heirloom Traditions colors, then whitewashed the whole thing in HTP Bone. Then, I went back in with Behr bright white.

I think it’s finished… and Mia and the boys stopped by and got to help with a good bit of it too!❤️💙💙

Not today, Satan! Work smarter, not harder (or wet!)🙏 couple Allen keys and a paint key will do the trick!

Installed a new front door, repaired storm door and installing black aluminum hand rail & posts today! 💪

Friday, Trent & Brad got the rest of the floor brought to level and then laid all the new sub-flooring in the master and re-insulated the bottom foot of wall.

They opened up the closet wall under the stairs as well, to create an extra “vacuum closet”/storage area. I was REALLY hoping there was going to be beautiful staircase in here that I could convince everyone to open all the way up, alas…..less work for Brad. 😅

Brad never ceases to amaze me! Because the limestone is sinking and the rim joist is rotted, we can’t jack the walls up...

Brad never ceases to amaze me! Because the limestone is sinking and the rim joist is rotted, we can’t jack the walls up (and we all knew this going in). He took an impossible 6” list all the way to level and sister’d in new joists. (And moved the electrical up and inside the wall and is moving the copper radiator lines as well!)

Subfloor tomorrow!🙌🏻 Finally making progress!!

Off on another adventure….😁

On Wednesday, Brad got the foundation on our daughter’s house bricked up, new sump pump & battery backup installed with a check valve.

We’re finishing up our week in Twin Lakes, WI tackling this leaker until the homeowners can get an electrician in to replace the electric main post. Replacing a couple outlets and new storm doors and while we’re in the area, we’ll have a little fun at our contractor friend Reslatted Woodworks housewarming party featuring The 65 North Pickers band and then enjoy some fireworks!

Finished up a quick 2-day painting project today; basement kitchen & dining with new door trim; stairwell; main kitchen, dining & laundry with some drywall repairs. We’ll return to install the sink & plumbing after custom countertops are in!
