Rockford has officially been named the #1 hottest housing market in the nation by Realtor.com — only the second time ever our metro has reached the top spot! 🏆🇺🇸
And as someone who lives, works, raises a family, runs a business, and serves this community, I couldn’t be more excited to see Rockford getting the national recognition it deserves.
📈 In August, Rockford homes attracted 2.9x the national average number of views per property and the typical home sold in about 33 days. Our median listing price was around $270,000, making Rockford significantly more affordable than nearby Chicago and Madison.
But numbers only tell part of the story.
