Today is National Dog Day🐾❤️

I've been lucky enough to share my life with nine dogs, and now two grand-puppies too. Dogs are family. They love you without conditions, without keeping score, and somehow always know exactly when you need them close. Their time with us never feels long enough, but the memories they leave behind are some of the best I have.

One of them, Bear, meant so much to me that I carry him with me every day — his photo is tattooed on my forearm, so he's never far.
