There are some properties that are just extra special — and 200 Old Union Road is one of them.
There’s history here. This is believed to be the first house in the town of Washington, and you can feel that history the moment you arrive. The old farmhouse has so much of the character that makes a historic Maine home special — the details, the proportions, the warmth and the feeling that this house has a story to tell.
And what I especially love is that the history hasn’t come at the expense of the condition. The house and barn have been cared for, giving the next owner the opportunity to enjoy the character of an old Maine farmhouse without simply taking on a restoration project.
