"Most people mow their lawns way too short, which stresses out the grass," . The saying is do less, not more. Raising the mower to the highest possible notch so you're mowing only the top third of the grass when you cut. Taller grass promotes better root development, as well as shading the ground so it doesn't dry out as fast. The taller the grass is it blocks the sun that w**d seeds require to germinate. With the grass being tall dont think for a moment that it is going to mean mowing more often. Proper lawn maintenance keeps your grass growing and looking its best.
