As summer draws to a close, we’re seeing some interesting shifts in the housing market. New home listings in the U.S. have edged up by 1.2%, reaching their highest point in three months. However, pending sales have dipped by 1.3%, marking the lowest level since March. Even with these changes, the median asking price has slipped slightly by 0.1%, while the median sale price is still up 1.8% compared to last year—despite the challenge of higher mortgage rates and ongoing economic uncertainty.
