Don’t miss Rocklin’s Giving Tree deadline 11/2/21• WINTER HOLIDAY MIRACLE GIFT CARD DRIVE
** DEADLINE EXTENDED **
DUE 5 PM MON, 11/29/2021
For many years, the Rocklin Police Department and Rocklin Parks and Recreation hosted a GIVING TREE in their lobbies in support of the Placer County Children's System of Care. Their Winter Holiday Miracle Program provides gifts for more than 500 needy children within our community.
Due to the nature of the COVID-19 virus, rather than the collection of toys and gifts requiring handling by multiple people, the Rocklin Police and Parks & Recreation Departments would like to hold a “gift card drive”. This will allow recipients to shop for their child if/when they feel comfortable.
Please help support this program by dropping off gift cards. If the card amount is not specified, please write the amount on the card in black Sharpie. Please do not fill out the "TO" or "FROM" fields and please do not include any envelopes or gift cardholders.
Due to the ever-changing possibility of business shut-downs, ideal gift cards would be very basic; i.e. VISA or Mastercard, Walmart, Target, Amazon & grocery cards. Although any amount is appreciated, (for the ease of distribution to families of different sizes), suggested amounts are $25, $50, or $100.
DROP-OFF LOCATIONS (M-F; 8 AM - 5 PM):
Rocklin Police Department
4080 Rocklin Rd.
Rocklin Parks & Recreation Department
5460 5th Street
**DEADLINE FOR DROP-OFF IS WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 17TH**
