Venmo security - am I the only one who wonders what the website "guru" was thinking when they ONLY allow a phone number for their 2-step verification. Hmmm, so I recently changed my phone number and did not get pre-approved from Venmo C-Level management. Oh, yes, I tried online chat and it was just as stupid; however, the bot did give me a "customer service" number to call. After a few button punch I was told that I needed to login and go to the FAQ page. Hmmm. I'm still trying to log on. On further down I was told to go to a device that was familiar with my account. Hmmm, so my initial try was on an iOS device that I've have for 4+ years. And then a PC that I've have for more than 4+ years. It makes one wonder if they want to do business with you. MOST companies offer a phone & email option to send the code. Yep, I know as I've been updating my phone number for several weeks now.
