Team JonarBri Realty had an amazing time at the Nautical Mile in Freeport for their yearly festival. Connecting with the community, spinning for prizes, sharing real estate tips, and giving away cotton candy, gift bags, and lots of smiles!

On Long Island, income discrimination is still happening — quietly.

Landlords saying:
• “No Section 8.”
• “We only want working tenants.”

In New York, lawful source of income is protected.

Under the New York State Human Rights Law, it is illegal to deny someone housing because they use:

* Section 8 / Housing Choice Voucher
* FHEPS / CityFHEPS
* HASA
* SSI / SSD
* Child support
* Any lawful rental assistance program

This isn’t about opinion.
