One of my favorite sounds of summer… ✨

The chorus of the cicadas. The crickets singing in the trees. The twinkle lights glowing through the woods. And every so often, the gentle clip-clop of an Amish buggy making its way down the road.

It’s quiet here in the best possible way.

These are the moments that remind you to slow down, breathe a little deeper, and simply be.

Our Ring camera quietly captured this one… a groom carrying his bride across the threshold of Walker Getaway on the night of their wedding. 🥹✨

Over the past year, we’ve had the incredible privilege of hosting weddings, elopements, honeymoons, anniversaries, and so many “just because we needed to get away” weekends.

It’s never lost on us what an honor it is to be a small part of your biggest memories.
