We are seeking an Electrical Project Superintendent to join our dynamic team and take charge of delivering top-notch electrical systems for high-profile projects.
About the Role
As the Electrical Project Superintendent, you will oversee the complete electrical package for multifamily buildings, including vertical and horizontal projects with up to 300 apartment units. Your role is critical in ensuring the successful ex*****on of electrical systems, including telecommunications, security systems, CCTV, access control, lighting controls, and more.
You will be responsible for leading crews of 40-50 electricians, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage of the project. This is a leadership position for a results-driven individual with the ability to manage people, processes, and technical challenges in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full scope of electrical work for multifamily building projects, including telecommunications, security, CCTV, access control, and lighting controls.
Supervise and direct a team of up to 40-50 electricians, ensuring productivity and adherence to project timelines.
Conduct weekly crew safety meetings and enforce OSHA safety standards to maintain a safe work environment.
Attend site meetings with general contractors, developers, and other stakeholders to provide updates, resolve challenges, and ensure project alignment.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate all electrical activities to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical designs, ensuring all work complies with codes and regulations.
Manage materials, tools, and equipment to optimize project efficiency and reduce waste.
Train and mentor crew members, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
-Licensed Electrician as a Master or Journeyman with extensive field experience in multifamily building projects.
-Proven ability to manage electrical systems for buildings up to 300 units, including both vertical and horizontal types.
-Strong expertise in telecommunications, security systems, CCTV, access control, lighting controls, and related technologies.
-Experience leading large crews (40-50 personnel) and managing team performance effectively.
-OSHA-trained with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
-Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
-Ability to attend and contribute to site and progress meetings with stakeholders.
-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project demands.
-A track record of successfully completing similar projects on time and within budget.
