PSA in case anyone is unaware. There are many Agents that are struggling to keep working for FREE these days. Sellers are often reluctant to pay the other agents commission and listings costs.

We are strictly paid a commission at closing. But we have to pay for all costs ahead of time with our own money as listing AGENTS.

There are a lot of HOMES in today’s market
sitting for over 6 months to almost a year. It doesn’t matter if you have 15+ listings if they aren’t selling. We have to make sure we are being honest and transparent to our clients.

I see a lot of people in this industry trying to always fake it until you make it. Those type of AGENTS don’t have your best interest at heart. They are usually only here temporarily.

LET’S be truthful and see this business model change by spreading awareness and making sure the real information is shared . Because we REALTORS owe it to ourselves in order to make this a long lasting career and to follow code of Ethics we have to
STOP putting on a show to make other think we are successful.

With that being said when you are asking your Realtor to cut their commission or don’t do your part as a seller to maintain your property to hope your Realtor will make a sale it’s almost always a failure.
