A good read from the Wall Street Journal

A visit from the home inspector can be nerve-wracking for a seller, especially in a market like this. It's in a seller's best interest to have the home as ready as possible before the inspection. It can cost more to address a problem once it turns up in an inspection.

I've been seeing this alot lately. This is the vent pipe at the top of a water heater. It should be properly connected to keep from exhausting carbon monoxide into the home. This one obviously is not connected. It's worth a look. If it's not connected correctly it's a pretty easy fix or I know a guy...

Literally a birds eye view of what it looks like before your post tension cables are laid and the slab is poured. The footing trenches are about 2 feet deep and you can see all the plumbing lines. Thought some of you might find this interesting.
