Hey DFW REALTORs® ... just another update on changes! This is from NTREIS and a timeline of what to expect.

June 24 – MLS fields related to offers of compensation will be “unrequired”. The fields affected will be Buyer Agency Commission, Buyer Agency Type, SubAgency Commission, SubAgency Type, and Dual/Variable Fee (Y/N).

July 29 – All MLS fields related to compensation will be REMOVED from ALL property categories. Any mention of compensation or commission will be prohibited from being mentioned in the MLS. Participants, Subscribers, or their sellers may not make offers of compensation to buyer brokers and other buyer representatives in the MLS.

July 29 – Addition of “Seller Concession? Y/N” field added to listing input. This addition is tentative and dependent on vendor ability to add the field by this timeline.

This being released today or tomorrow by the associations.
