Do you love interior design? In real estate -it's a must for me to constantly studying the design market to know trends in colors, tones, new construction and the latest finishes. Almost 30 years ago, a developer that I worked for taught me something simple - The right designer saved him money on new home developments-he believed in Staging, Landscape and current trends.
Although his personal home he preferred not to hire a designer -for his projects we always had to FIND the right one for the project. His motto - "They save me money." And that's been my approach - How can we the interior designer keep me inside the finish out budget.
IT's not always about buying the most expensive products, it's placement of color, where to spend more on finishes and what tried and true products save you on the budget -but don't have a splashy name brand - That's the job of an INTERIOR DESIGNER -it's not just about the trends, it's about incorporating fresh ideas into the project while keeping the client inside the budget.
