Here is what’s currently for sale in Washington and Benton Counties, with a deep dive into select cities. This data is live as of this morning, and shows single family homes, condos and townhomes that are on less than .5 acres that are currently for sale in the NWA market. (The reason I exclude the properties with more than half acre is to more accurately compare homes apples to apples, and not include large expensive parcels of land.)

On Thursday I got invited to a press preview of the new exhibition at Crystal Bridges - Grandma Moses: A Good Day’s Work! You know why it was deeply inspiring? She didn’t exhibit her work and become well known until her 80s! 😍

I found her depictions of nature and community joyful and whimsical. She seemed to capture the light hearted nature of life perfectly, and with beautiful color.

There’s fun interactive portions of the exhibit too: you can move magnets around to create your own versions of her art (reassemble her subjects in different formations on the background), and you can also pen a special postcard to someone and mail it. ❤️

The exhibition opens to the public today! You can go see for yourself! 😍 It’s in the special exhibition section, meaning there’s a ticket price to view, but the cool part is your ticket also gets you into the ongoing Keith Haring special exhibition too!

This week my husband and I decided to be tourists in our own town and join in on the brand new walking food tour of downtown Bentonville! Guys…I know a lot about this city, especially about the food scene (you know me, I’m nosy and I love to eat 😉), but we still learned so many cool facts!

Our knowledge foodie tour guide Cary took us to five different eateries, where we usually tried at least two different interesting treats. Of the five places we visited, two were ran by James Beard award finalist chefs… The two hours flew by quickly and we came away VERY full (in case you were wondering about portion size 😉).

On our tour were two other couples from out of town, and we all had fun swapping travel and eating experience stories. 😍

If you’re looking for a fun date idea, or have relatives in town that you want to entertain for a few hours (while you get a break 😉) or if you just love to try something new and like to eat, the Big on Bentonville food walking tour might be for you! 😍

This morning was another example of the fun serendipitous experiences you can have in NWA! We decided to meet some friends for brunch at Louise at Thaden Field…and while dining we saw not one, but three epic plans land!

First a Sukhoi Su-26 single seater aerobatic plane drove down the runway, sounding like a Ferrari. 😍

Then a GB1 GameBird took off and landed…

Then we noticed a beautifully restored Stinson Tri-Motor Model B from the 1930s getting prepped for takeoff. It just so happened that the pilot was dining near us and curious me asked to take a peek in the plane 😍 Hey, it never hurts to ask, because you know what?? My family and I got to go inside the plane and also pepper the pilot with a million questions. They said Thaden Field was one of their favorite airports to fuel up at, the food and the atmosphere were 👌🏻. There’s a reason this is one of my favorite brunch spots in NWA! ❤️ Then we watched the plane take off, with the GameBird close behind. 👌🏻

How epic. Truly. Everyday something cool in NWA 😍

Last night my small business friends and I decided to gather for dinner to catch up. Someone suggested the new downtown Springdale location for noshnola_springdale and we all headed there!

I’m pretty sure we ordered one of everything on the menu and we all shared, which was the right choice as the portions are generous! Whether or not we had any space left for dessert was quickly discounted once the huge piece of chocolate cake came out. Needless to say we all dived in. 😅

If you’re looking for New Orleans style fare, and don’t want to drive to their popular Bentonville food truck, this new restaurant is for you! Also I hear it’s one of only two options for delicious lunchtime burgers in downtown Springdale!

There’s a new Michaels in NWA, conveniently located in the same shopping center as some of our favorite homegoods stores in Rogers (HomeGoods, HomeSense and Marshalls).

If you love crafting, color and bounty, then you’ll love this Michaels shopping experience! There’s also a Party Room, a large Balloon Bar, and other blown out specialty areas like framing and floral.

If you’re like me, you might just enjoy strolling up and down the isles and thinking of all the possibilities. 😍
