Another major piece of Northwest Arkansas’ growth is taking shape in Bentonville.

The AWSOM Whole Health Campus has officially broken ground, marking the beginning of a 120+ acre health care campus designed to expand access to specialty care closer to home.

The first building is planned to open in 2029, with cardiac care, orthopedics, gastroenterology, and neurology among the specialties planned for the initial phase. This new campus will add to the health care resources available to residents across Northwest Arkansas.

A $78.78 million expansion is moving forward at Northwest Arkansas National Airport, adding approximately 111,000 square feet to the terminal and ultimately increasing the airport’s gate capacity by five.

It’s another big investment in the infrastructure supporting our growing region and the people who call Northwest Arkansas home.
