🏡 SEPTEMBER RIVER VALLEY REAL ESTATE UPDATE

We’ve heard a lot of talk lately about the real estate market being “slow”… but what do the actual numbers say?

Let’s look at one number that really matters:

How many homes are actually selling? 👀

Here’s a look at August 2026 home sales compared to August 2025 in three of our local counties:

📍 SEBASTIAN COUNTY, AR
🏠 145 homes sold
⬆️ UP 10.2% from last year
132 homes sold in August 2025

📍 CRAWFORD COUNTY, AR
🏠 59 homes sold
⬆️ UP 3.6% from last year
57 homes sold in August 2025

📍 SEQUOYAH COUNTY, OK
🏠 36 homes sold
⬆️ UP 15.6% from last year
31 homes sold in August 2025

All three counties saw an increase in the number of homes sold compared to the same time last year. 👏

So while the market may FEEL slower than the crazy pace we became accustomed to a few years ago, people are absolutely still buying and selling homes in the River Valley.

And now that we’re into September, we’re personally starting to feel activity picking up again — more conversations, more buyers looking, more showings, more offers and more people getting serious about making a move.
