โSuch a bittersweet moment watching you sign the papers to buy your first home and me getting to be apart of the journey every step of the way! ๐ซถ๐ป
It feels like just yesterday we were learning how to sign our names practicing cursive.
Last year Namisha moved in with me to save money and get through nursing school. We would stay up until 2 am talking about what she was going to do after she moved out and graduated, and she was determined to buy a house.
We talked about what style of house she liked, how she was going to decorate it, and how many plants she was going to put in every corner.
Fast forward to this year: she graduated, and we looked at house after house after house. (None of them had enough room for her plants.)
Then we found the perfect one.
She knew nothing about it I just told her to get in my car. It had been listed for about 10 minutes when I saw it. She was in the middle of eating dinner and I told her it couldnโt wait, so she ate her dinner in my car on the way to the house.
She fell in love with it as soon as we pulled in. Iโve never seen the โthis is the oneโ look come across someoneโs face so quickly.
I am so incredibly proud of you and admire you so much. You have done absolutely everything you said you would do.
If you know Namisha and I, you know we donโt hug and we donโt get sappy. ๐คฃ A true 15 year friendship. But Iโd be lying if I said I didnโt tear up on the way to closing.
Congratulations, Namisha. ๐กโค๏ธโ
