Real estate doesn’t always follow a straight line.

Before this home ever officially hit the market, we helped our seller negotiate a strong offer. When that contract unexpectedly fell apart through no fault of the seller, we quickly pivoted, launched the listing, and got right back to work.

A few short weeks later, we’re under contract again.

Last year, I had one of those moments that reminds you how small and connected our community can be. After helping sell several homes in the Old East Rome Historic District, a neighbor reached out because—somehow—I’d sold houses on all four sides of him. We met, shared a great conversation, and a few weeks later, joined him again for martinis at his home.

At one point that evening, he smiled and said, “Now don’t you try to take this listing when I’m gone, Mimi’s getting it.” And he meant it.

It was one of those easy, memorable nights you don’t realize will stay with you.

This is a rare French-style Hollywood Regency home, full of character and quietly elegant details. Five bedrooms, three baths, beautiful bones, and timeless boxwood gardens that frame the house so perfectly. It’s the kind of place that needs vision—but rewards it in return.

Some closings are bittersweet…I LOVED showing 31 Notasulga. It was an architectural masterpiece and incredibly unique…but this one is bittersweet because I truly enjoyed getting to know the seller. Our paths had crossed, but working together was quite special.
