Job Description
We are looking for Maintenance workers to perform upkeep tasks such as identifying deficiencies or items requiring maintenance or safety correction issues to management and cleaning. You will be responsible for monitoring properties to ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning commercial facilities. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Responsibilities
• Perform cleaning activities such as wiping and dusting window sills, removing cobwebs and wasp nests from under canopies, etc.
• Perform litter maintenance on the grounds and sidewalks
• Do upkeep by collecting trash from sidewalk trash containers, cleaning spills on the sidewalks, especially around sidewalk trash containers, etc.
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as emptying cigarette urns and replace with sand, as needed
• Inspect and identify deficiencies or items requiring maintenance or safety correction issues to management.
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
• Travel required to Ellijay, Dalton, and Cartersville. Company vehicle and fuel provided.
• Report to facilities or maintenance manager for issues
Skills
• Proven experience in other similar position
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and dexterity
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean and safe driving record is required
• Drug-free
• Self-Motivating, accountable and trustworthy individuals
