Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures out there!
A special Happy Father’s Day to my dad, who taught me so much of what I know today. He taught me the value of hard work, how to enjoy life and have fun, and that success doesn’t have to come at someone else’s expense. He showed me that honesty, integrity, and treating people right still matter.
He’s also the guy who taught me to actually live. Whether it’s standing at the edge of the ocean, working up a sweat on a good trail, or settling in for a long ride with the wind in your face, he always understood that those moments are life rewarding you for the hard work you put in, and that life is meant to be enjoyed, not just gotten through. That’s a lesson I carry every single day.
Some of the greatest things I’ve learned didn’t come from a classroom, they came from watching him lead by example. In fact, to this day he’ll still tell you that a classroom and I just didn’t get along, and we both get a good laugh about that.
Thank you, Dad, for the lessons, the guidance, and the example you’ve set throughout my life. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you.
