Knowing your why helps us know what priorities are most important when looking for your next housing adventure.

Sometimes a "downsize" doesn't always mean a smaller home - it might be less yard maintenance, transitioning to a one story or being closer to hospitals or family. Sometimes it even means selling your home and buying an RV to travel the country!

After you really know what's most important to you, it's time to think seriously about finances. A consult with a financial planner, lender and real estate agent (me!) will help guide you in this step.

Then it's time to get the family over and start to declutter the house one room at a time!

One of the first things to do when preparing your home to sell is to declutter!

Maybe you aren't planning on selling but like to keep your eyes out for homes just in case. Use this Spring season to go through each room and declutter!

Get rid of things that don't serve any purpose for you. Pretend you are prepping your house to sell - and then just live in it and enjoy!

So many sellers clean and declutter and then jokingly say "Now I don't want to move, this house looks amazing!"

Then if a certain new home happens to catch your eye, you'll be one step ahead in getting ready to move forward!

If anyone wants guidance on decluttering, I'm your girl! I like to organize when I'm procrastinating on a less fun chore.
