This is lake level for Tahoe, late Winter 2024✔️.

It's high, and there's a lot of snow still up there on the mountain. Will 89 flood? Will there be a solution for Pyramid Lake overflow so F***y Bridge can open? How will the media torment their viewers if there's no visible reason to sound the drought alarms? Will fresh water continue to run off to the ocean instead of being captured in groundwater wells like ones that Roseville has for its residents? Will the boats in the Tahoe Keys, which are contributors to algae pollution, still be allowed to go out on the lake? Will we be allowed to float down Truckee River this summer? Or will the seasonal workers be out of luck - yet again - this time because there is too MUCH water...

I would be highly entertained by a Yellowstone-esque series that focused on California water drama. You'd hardly need to exaggerate reality in order to evoke feelings of suspense, empathy, grandure, and rage. There's good guys, bad guys, beauty, corruption, poverty, and wealth - it's all there! And that's just Tahoe. Any screenwriters and filmmakers interested?

Although if that happens, our light-speed increase in real estate values will go right to..... ludicrous speed (gasp!).

Things are beginning to percolate because it's January and because people will only stay put for so long - even in a tempered market.

The property pictured here currently holds the record for "Best Equipped Outdoor Kitchen" that I've had the pleasure of selling.

Along with a BBQ, oven, gas cooktop, sink, and fridge, there was also a smoker, a pizza oven, and a steamer!

With the right REALTOR leading the way, you can house hunt, purchase, inspect, list, and close escrow while staying within the current Covid19 mandates and guidelines for Placer, El Dorado, Sacramento, Sutter, and Yuba counties.

I've closed properties since the restrictions were put in place with NO PROBLEMS. Homes are out there, Buyers are out there, and the intrest rates are glorious.

Look what my 2019 REAL ESTATE clients got for Christmas!
I was thrilled to personally deliver a gift to those who still lived in the area. My favorite parts about reconnecting with my clients were 1) being grateful all over again for each one and the business they provided for my family, and 2) seeing how they had lovingly filled and proudly decorated their homes for the holiday season, making each home their very own.
We all need a sense of place--a GOOD place--that's part of why being a Realtor means so much to me.
Each 2019 client got one of the following: Limoncello sourced by the Meyer lemons from our own backyard, Vanilla Extract made with beans from Madagascar, or Rwandan coffee beans roasted and ground on our front porch.
The coffee was a new idea, and for those of you who got it... and drank it... rest assured, I'm keeping my day job!
