DAVIS CALIFORNIA: MEET ADOPTABLE CASHEW 💛

Cashew is a one year old neutered male purebred Golden retriever rescued from a Northern California shelter. Here is his story:

A family with 5 children dropped Cashew off at the shelter because their 6 yr old startled Cashew out of a deep sleep by jumping on his head; cashew nipped the boys cheek as he startled awake. Luckily no stitches were needed, but unfortunately Cashew paid dearly.

We were contacted by volunteers at the shelter who advocated for Cashew — he didn’t deserve a prison sentence or a death sentence…. just a better matched home was all he needed.

Because a foster offer stepped forward, we were able to pull cashew in the program… but now he needs his forever ever.

Cashew truly is a great dog — a goofy boy who loves water, people and alllllll the toys. We are hoping for the best of homes and the best of people for this beauty. Cashew is vetted neutered and ready to go!!

Reminder!!! Have an amazing and safe 4th of July…🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️🐶🐶

🇺🇸 Fourth of July is tomorrow and we’re resharing some key tips on keeping your pets safe amid fireworks! 🎆 Fireworks have already started popping off in many neighborhoods.

1️⃣ Exercise and walk pets well ahead of festivities and fireworks. Then keep them indoors.
2️⃣ Keep pets secure by checking fences, doors and other escape routes.
3️⃣ Ensure contact info for IDs such as collars, tags and microchips is current. *Ensure a visible ID is on them!*
4️⃣ Run fans, white noise, TVs and/or radios to help distract them.
5️⃣ Settle in with your pet in a safe space and keep them calm if you can stay home.
6️⃣ If your dog must go outside, ensure they’re solidly on a leash.
7️⃣ If needed, contact your veterinarian ahead of time to ask about medication.

Hank Williams has been declining due to stress—he had a rescue ready to pull him but with no one stepping forward to foster him, he’s still waiting at the shelter 😭 This poor guy came to us with an infection in his joints that had caused swelling and discomfort. Fortunately, vets identified the cause and he received the antibiotics needed to recover. He began to feel much better, but shelter life is so hard on every dog, especially one that is this big and needs space. He is 1 year old and around 100 lbs.

URGENT: Emergency foster or adopter needed! 🚨

Eli was born in foster care Dec 2020 & adopted in early 2021. He is now in need of an **immediate** new forever home.

His adopters will no longer keep him in their home.

He is 4 yrs mixed breed, short legs, lives with dogs but is being rehomed due to resource guarding of toys against other dogs. He may do best in a teen home + adults; cats unknown. He doesn’t currently go on walks but is moderate activity and would benefit from structured activity. Wow…it’s so bittersweet! 🥲
Another year now makes 20 and all wrapped up with another major shakeup in Real Estate! 🤷‍♀️
When I first entered Real Estate, I would have never thought I would still be doing this 20 years later.
I truly can say I have met some of the greatest in the business and unfortunately, I have met some of the worst in the business. I learned early on sitting on a board position some of the untrustworthy ethics some people can have, but that’s true about every occupation.
I am thankful for those that helped launch me in my career and am humbled that I got to work along side of them. They truly were amazing and I see all of them still working hard way past my 20 yrs! ❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼
