Sellers Market!!! This is quite a hot topic lately, and very frustrating for buyers. We all know what a sellers market means; homes go QUICK! Does this mean that a buyer shouldn’t buy now? Does this mean that its not worth going up against mulitple offers? Are you ready to just wait for the market to shift?
Not so fast, buyers! Yes, we are in a sellers market but keep in mind what comes with supply and demand. When there is a lack of supply, prices go up! Just like when there is an over supply, they go down. I recently sold two homes that were purchased last Spring, which sold for 25-30k more than they paid!
We know what kind of market we are in right now. However, we have no crystal ball telling us what’s to come. Interest rates could go up, which will increase the mortgage payment and make it harder to purchase. Values could also go up more, which again may make it impossible for some to afford. If you are thinking of buying or are currently looking at buying, don’t wait or give up!! There is one thing that is certain; its a good time now! We know the rates, and the market were in.
