From Placer County Transportation Planning Agency - PCTPA and Caltrans District 3: Traffic alert! If you are traveling on westbound I-80, the connection to Highway 65 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday (6/25) through Friday (6/28) for highway construction. A detour will be in place to direct motorists to the Eureka Road exit to the eastbound I-80 on-ramp. Motorists will also be directed to the eastbound I-80 connector to northbound Highway 65.
