a began her career in 1981 as a real estate and tax Attorney at Heller Ehrman in San Francisco, negotiating and drafting real estate transactions and dispute resolutions. Then, as a Project Manager at commercial real estate developer Bedford Properties, Inc. in Lafayette, California, she was responsible for design, construction, marketing, leasing and sales of office buildings and industrial parks throughout the East Bay.As a real estate Investment Banker and Vice President at Salomon Brothers Inc in New York and Los Angeles, Alyssa was responsible for complex debt and equity financings, leasing and sales of landmark office buildings, hotels, retail shopping centers, and industrial buildings and land portfolios in the western United States (including financing the Bank of America Building, Transamerica Pyramid, Mandarin Hotel, Portman Hotel, and all properties owned by Santa Fe Southern Pacific Railroad (now Catellus), etc.) which she marketed globally.After seven years at Salomon Brothers, when the firm closed its real estate department, Alyssa continued consulting and advising public and private corporations and individuals, developers, owners and tenants regarding deal structuring; performing due diligence and financial analysis; producing offering materials; marketing to targeted lenders and investors; and executing debt and equity financings, sales and leasing transactions.As an Associate Broker at Alain Pinel, Alyssa distinguishes herself from most of the residential brokerage industry. In acting as her clients’ advocate throughout the marketing and sales processes, she places their interests first—even when it means recommending against a transaction.
