PSA: Hey friends, just a heads up. There are a lot of scams going around right now involving rental properties and homes for sale. Scammers are copying photos from homes listed online for sale or rent and then relisting them on other sites. If something doesn't seem right, its probably not. Do not give out bank info, wire, or PayPal money without first meeting someone at the property, physically walking through, signing a lease, and receiving keys.

I've known of two people who have had properties listed and someone scammed others out of money posting as the owner of the property. Yesterday, this happened to my parents with a house they own. Someone copied their photos and listed it on trulia. The scammer was able to get a lady in Ringgold to send them $1100 on PayPal and then asked for more. BE CAREFUL!
