For me? I grew up in Hawaii where movie nights at the drive-in were a big deal, we didn't have a lot but we had great stories and great company.

Hey Forsyth County, this is Darrell Hahn with Coldwell Banker Realty.

May’s numbers came in with a powerful lesson: well-prepared homes are still winning in this market.
Even though the median sales price jumped to $650,000, buyers are still buying, they’re just being a lot more selective. They’re not going to overpay, and they’re definitely not buying a home that isn’t staged and ready to show.

has been smoking meats low and slow right here in Cu***ng since 2018 and if you haven't been yet, you are completely missing out!
I stopped in on Friday at 2:30pm and let me tell you four groups walked in right behind me. There's a reason people keep coming back! 😄
When you first walk in it might seem like a hole in the wall, but here's the thing, that's exactly how you know you are in a REAL Southern BBQ place. They care more about what they are serving than fancy decorations. And what they are serving is absolutely outstanding! 🙌
Today I had the Smoked Turkey with Fried Okra and Mac & Cheese. Every single bite was perfection.
🦃 The Smoked Turkey, juicy, tender, with a beautiful smoke ring. Absolutely delicious. But I have to be honest, the Brisket I had on my first visit still takes the crown. That brisket is in a league of its own! 👑
🌿 The Fried Okra — I don't say this lightly — this is the BEST fried okra I have had at any restaurant. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside with an incredible flavor. If you skip the okra you are doing it wrong! 😄
🧀 The Mac & Cheese, thick, creamy, cheesy perfection. The kind that sticks to your ribs and makes you smile. 😍
⚠️ Pro tip: get there early! When they sell out they close, regardless of what time it is. That's the mark of a place that refuses to compromise on quality. No rushing, no shortcuts, just real Southern BBQ made with love! ❤️

Fresh lychees. My absolute favorite fruit and one of the things I miss most about growing up in Hawaii. 🌺
There is nothing quite like peeling back that rough exterior to find that sweet, juicy, almost floral flavor inside. If you have never had a fresh lychee you are seriously missing out on one of life's great pleasures!
Growing up in Wahiawa, Hawaii, lychees were just part of life. Finding them fresh here in Georgia still makes me smile every single time. 😊

   – May 2026 Update!

Hey Forsyth County!

Prices are still climbing the median sales price hit $650,000 this month, up over 5% from April and 2.4% higher than last May.

Homes are also selling faster: the average days on market dropped to just 37 days quicker than last month and quicker than May of last year.

We’re seeing more inventory coming on the market, which is giving buyers more choices, while sellers who price right and prepare their homes well are still getting strong results.

It’s a solid, active market with rising values and quicker sales for well-prepared homes.
