I simply won’t stand for it.

Send this to your friend who loves Woodstock, GA as much as you.

For some reason, there’s all sorts of slander about Woodstock, GA (especially from people in Atlanta or ITP) and I’m going to set the record straight.

They say Woodstock is boring.
→ There are endless things to do in Woodstock from great local restaurants like Prime 120 , going to our local Woodstock Arts Theater, walking around downtown, enjoying a relaxing Saturday afternoon at Reformation... I could go on for days.

They say it is so far from the city
→ This really depends on where you live. If you live in East Woodstock, for example, you are just minutes from Roswell and Canton Street and I575 is really a quick route to take to get into the city.

They say our food scene is overrated
→ Now this one really annoys me. Have you ever been to Paloma’s, Queenie’s BBQ or Primos? Downtown Woodstock and Adair Park are full of incredible restaurants.

They say it’s too quiet.
→ Well, this one is subjective. Some people complain that it is getting too crowded, others like the simpler life compared to the city. Really I find it is a great balance between having fun things to do and some slower paced “90s style” living.

The work you do or don’t do to your home when selling can and often does impact value.

But it can be a slippery slope. I’ve seen sellers make totally unnecessary upgrades that cost them without any return. And unfortunately, I’ve seen sellers miss out on their desired price because they were unwilling to do the upgrades necessary to achieve it.
