From the moment we met, we really had no business getting along. 😂

And let’s not even get started on who makes the better ceviche because I’m trying to keep this post friendly. 😂

Somehow, despite ALL of those very serious differences, we made it to the closing table. ❤️🏡

But in all seriousness, you guys made this one special.

Every real estate transaction has its moments. Things come up, plans change, there are stressful phone calls and problems we have to figure out along the way. But through all of it, you guys trusted me, stayed focused, and somehow still made this transaction so much fun.

I’m incredibly grateful that you trusted me to help you get here, but even more grateful that somewhere along the way, I got to make some new friends.

The funniest part about this video is that anyone who actually talks to me on the phone knows… I’M the problem. 😂

Just ask my lender Jordan Nutter.

I’ll call her with one quick real estate question and 45 minutes later she knows what happened at my kids’ practice, what I’m making for dinner for my family, a mastermind idea, three completely unrelated stories, and somewhere in there… I might remember why I called. 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

So yes, the 5-minute call becoming a 2-hour therapy session is VERY accurate.

I’m just usually the one doing the talking. 😂

But all jokes aside, call me. Whether you have a real estate question, need some advice, want to talk through your options, or just need someone who will actually listen — I’m always down for a good conversation.

Just… maybe don’t call if you only have 5 minutes. 😂📱

How to spot an Atlanta agent worth referring 🤩

For me, a referral is a BIG deal.

Because you’re not just sending me a name and phone number. You’re sending me your friend, your coworker, your neighbor, your cousin, your family — someone who trusts you enough to ask who they should call.

And I don’t take that lightly.

A good agent should know the North Atlanta market, understand contracts, negotiate, and know how to get a deal to the closing table. That’s the job.

But the agent worth referring?

That’s the one who will actually look out for your people.

The one who will say, “Yeah, we need to push back on this.”

Or, “This repair isn’t worth losing the house over.”

Or even, “Listen… I KNOW you love this house, but I really don’t think this is the one.” 😂

Sometimes my job is helping someone buy the house.

Sometimes my job is helping them not buy the wrong one.

Either way, if you trust me enough to send someone my way, I’m going to do everything I can to make sure they’re taken care of.

So if you have a friend, family member, coworker, neighbor — whoever — buying or selling anywhere around North Atlanta, send them my way.

I’d be honored to help them. 🏡

But all jokes aside, no matter how busy business gets, there’s something to be said about having the right people in your corner — people who push you, challenge you, and occasionally annoy you into being better. 😂

Jordan Nutter has definitely been one of those people for me.

Because without her, I’m pretty sure my Instagram would just be “JUST LISTED 🏡” followed by 17 pictures of houses and absolutely zero personality. 😂

Find people in business who want to see you win — and who aren’t afraid to drag you into filming content when you’re trying to work.

Same house.
Same Realtor.
Completely different energy.

I swear I don’t even do it on purpose. The second I switch languages, a whole different Juan Carlos clocks in. 😂

To be fair, I’ve never really done this just for the money.

I mean… don’t get me wrong. 😂 The money is definitely needed. I have two boys to feed, and apparently every sport and extracurricular activity known to mankind needs to be funded. Also have you seen the price of raspberries!?!?💸😂

Ok getting side tracked here…

But that’s never been the part of real estate that keeps me here.

I genuinely love working with people.

I love meeting someone new and learning their story. Hearing about where they’ve been, what they’re trying to accomplish, and then getting the opportunity to be a small part of something really big in their life.

There’s something special about seeing someone get the keys to their first home. Watching a family move into the house where their kids are going to grow up. Helping someone sell a home full of memories so they can move on to whatever chapter comes next.

Yeah, the money is good. And we all need to make a living.

But when you’re buying or selling something this important, you deserve someone in your corner who doesn’t look at you and see a paycheck.

I’d much rather look at it as the beginning of a new relationship.

And hopefully, years from now, when you need real estate help again—or someone you love does—you already know exactly who you’re calling. ❤️🏡

Filmed this WHOLE video before realizing my microphone is officially fighting for its life… and now I sound like Bane trying to sell you a house in Gotham. 💀

So I’m asking for help before my next listing video starts with “Nobody cared who I was until I put on the lockbox.” 😂
