I'm excited to finally share what I have been working on this week, and my new take on what our franchise is all about, which is Humans Over Houses.

Check out my new series called "Meet the Owners" and for my first ever, I sat down with Chris and Sherrie, who own the jaw dropping home at 181475 Cihaski Rd in Birnamwood, WI that I am proud to showcase for them.

Virtual tours are great, but I think this approach takes it to the next level, and brings in genuine connection between the buyers and sellers, which at the end of the day is what this is all about.

Believe it or not, there is so much behind the scenes of these "Sold" posts... and this one is worth sharing.

I met these sellers just after 2026 began. They were motivated, yet frustrated because they had their home listed already for 6 months, during prime selling time, and no action.

We got their home back on an repositioned in the market, fresh media to showcase its character, video walkthroughs, TikToks, social media blasting, you name it.

After lots of conversations with the sellers, virtual staging, hosting an open house, doing my own personal 3.5 hour deep clean (I washed every single window in this house.. and there were a lot.) We got an accepted offer!

Was that the end? Absolutely not.. This is really where it starts. We (were supposed to) have a pretty short window to close on this one. After the appraisal came back, the electrical panel got flagged for being a Federal Pacific Stab-Lok panel.

I got right to it. after reaching out to 8-9 electricians, I got one on the books, provided access, and we got it taken care of within a week and a half, enough for our original closing date.

I wish that was the end of the story. After delays with loan underwriting, we got pushed back from our early June closing date. Then again, and again, and finally, a FOURTH time... 5 weeks past our original closing date.

FINALLY, we got clear to close, and wrapped it up. My sellers got to move onto their next chapter, and the buyers got an awesome home to call their own.

At the seller pre-signing, The seller's kids were with and were acting as translators for their mother, being a Hmong family and she did not speak English. I asked her kids, "how do you say, Congratulations?" They laughed and said they were honestly not sure, and they don't hear that one a lot..

So, to wrap this up, next time you see a sold post from a realtor, just know that there is likely one hell of a story behind it. Know that there is more to what we do than what meets the eye, and that if I had to do it all again for my clients, I would.

And after looking on Google Translate, to the new buyers and to my sellers, I say; Zoo siab nrog koj! 🎉
