🎉 Join the Social Committee! – Love planning events? We’re looking for a few more volunteers to help with this year’s Spring Celebration, Fall Festival, and Winter Gathering. The previous team left great resources, so you’ll have plenty of support!

🏀 Amenity Use Reminder – Our community spaces are for residents and their guests only. Hosting friends? Make sure they follow community guidelines. If any damage occurs, the resident is responsible for repairs.

Vizcaya Residents,

The weather forecast predicts a freeze this weekend. Be ready and prepared to protect your home, pipes, pets, and plants!

Before a freeze:
• Wrap exposed faucets and pipes outside or in unheated areas of your home.
• Remove garden hoses from outside faucets.
• Know where the valves to your water systems are and how to use them.
• Bring pets indoors.
• Cover plants or bring them indoors.
• Stay updated on weather conditions using trusted news sources.

We are excited to invite you to the first Vizcaya Maintenance Transition Training session that will be held on Wednesday, March 20th, at 5:30 PM via Zoom. Representatives from Winstead PC, our Association attorney firm, will explain essential aspects of HOA governing documents, operating procedures, and maintenance responsibilities. Additionally, they will provide insights into the board election process.

Vizcaya Residents are invited to the spectacular Festival of Lights 2023, brought to you by wonderful families in Vizcaya. Get ready for an amazing evening filled with fantastic music and dance performances, a live DJ, food, and a variety of vendor stalls.

Just a heads up, this event is not sponsored by the HOA, but it's all about the community coming together for some festive fun!

We are glad that residents are connecting and creating online communities. As a reminder Traditions at Vizcaya HOA only has a page; there are no official Facebook Groups for the Association. Management has not sent an email invitation to sign up for Vizcaya Traditions, or any Facebook Group. Please note the email address [email protected] does not belong to Traditions at Vizcaya HOA. We will continue to post information on this page, in the weekly newsletters, and on the website.

If you haven't already, please check your email, including your spam folder, for a message from The Inspectors of Election, LLC (TIE). This email contains crucial information, including the official notice of the election meeting, online voting details, and your login credentials. In case you haven't received this email, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly at [email protected]. We're here to assist you and ensure everyone can participate in this important process.

Remember that each assessed property is entitled to one electronic ballot. There are three open positions, allowing property owners to vote for up to three candidates. Please note that cumulative voting is not allowed. The three candidates with the highest vote counts will be elected, with their terms varying as follows: The candidate with the most votes will serve a three-year term, the runner-up will have a two-year term, and the third-highest vote earner will serve a one-year term.

It's a chance to drop by, have a chat, and pose any questions you may have to the candidates. We're aiming for an open and friendly atmosphere, giving you the opportunity to get to know the candidates better.

Don't make plans for dinner! We will be joined by amazing folks at Pork B***y Food Truck who make the best chopped pork and chopped beef sandwiches, so bring your wallets with you.
