One thing I love about many of our homes is that they weren’t originally built as vacation rentals.

They’re homes where dads taught their sons how to fish.

Where moms ended the day with a glass of wine on the porch.

Where cousins spent every summer racing to the pool.

Where grandparents gathered everyone around the fire pit after dinner.

Now, they’re places where new families get to make memories of their own.

I think that’s what makes them feel so special.
